I’m not sure about any of you, but for years I was convinced that dogs were colorblind! I had no idea they could see other colors besides black and white. Recent studies have shown that dog’s are not colorblind, but they are not able to see all of the colors in an electromagnetic spectrum like us. Also, some basic colors are seen as another color to dogs. For instance, they normally see all reds as yellows, green as light grey or white, and they also see white as blue. Whew, that’s complicated! If anything, you would think white would be seen as green, it’s all very unusual. Luckily, there is an actual color chart for us to view to make it a little easier. What do you think about this, did you know dogs could see some colors? Let us know what you think!
