In order to provide the best service for you and your pet we have established the following policies.

Payment Policy

Payments for walking or sitting services are to be paid in full at the time of booking or on the first day that service begins. If payment is not received at the time of service, a $25.00 late fee may be added to your invoice. 2 Paws Up, Inc accepts checks, cash or credit card  payments.  There will be a $25.00 + bank fees for all returned checks. If client requests to extend service, the client guarantees payment at the same rate for all services provided upon return. Although not required, if you wish to tip the Pet Sitter, please write a separate check in the Pet Sitter’s name or leave cash for your pet sitter.

Cancellation Policy

For early return and cancellation of service (for non-holiday reservations), a 48-hour notice is required or client will be charged the rate of one visit. After cancellation fees, any remaining balance will be applied to future pet sitting visits only. No refunds will be given. All holiday reservations require a 7-day notice for changes and cancellations or client will be charged for the services reserved. No credits will be given for early returns during holiday periods. All holiday visits must be prepaid during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Cancellations are non-refundable.

You must give a two week advance notice for Overnight pet care reservations. Cancellations with less than 1 week notice will result in a cancellation fee.

Visits Between the hours of 9:00 PM and 7:00 Am

Too early/Too late: Visits made between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:00 am are subject to an additional $10.00 per visit.

Key Copies

Two working copies of your house keys must be provided at the time of registration/consultation. If you live in a gated community, you must provide a gate card, remote or appropriate access codes. NO KEYS will be mailed by regular mail, hidden outside or locked in homes on last visits. Should keys become unusable, lock malfunction, client fails to leave a key or for any other reason beyond Pet Sitters control, 2 Paws Up, Inc and pet sitters have authorization to gain entry into a client’s home on client’s behalf. Client will be responsible for all expenses incurred and reimburse 2 Paws Up, Inc upon return.

Terms and Conditions

Due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, 2 Paws Up, Inc and Pet Sitters cannot be held responsible for any unusual mishaps (ie: Pet’s refusal to take medication, escaping from the yard, biting, eating or destroying household items, damage to inside/outside of home, personal injury/accidental death). If client requests pet(s) to have outside access, client releases 2 Paws Up Inc and Pet Sitters from all liability for loss, injury or death to pet(s). Client is liable for injury or damage to Third Parties. Client authorizes 2 Paws Up, Inc and Pet Sitters to take photos of client’s pet(s) for their file and for http://www.2pawsuppetservices.com website. All photos taken are the property of 2 Paws Up, Inc.

Visit times are approximate and subject to change based on the needs of all pets under Pet Sitter’s care. Pet Sitter is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home, in the event of an emergency situation, inclement weather or natural disaster. 2 Paws Up, Inc and Pet Sitters will be held harmless for consequences related to such decisions.

In the event of injury, illness, of your Pet Sitter, or other emergency circumstances where duties are unable to be preformed, client authorizes 2 Paws Up, Inc to arrange for a back-up sitter to take over the duties as outlined in this agreement. Also, client authorizes 2 Paws Up, Inc to a sitter assist with busy holidays without advanced notice.

2 Paws Up, Inc reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time before, or during it’s term if Pet Sitter determines the client pet poses a danger to the health or safety of herself/himself or others. If concerns prohibit Pet Sitter from caring for pet, client authorizes pet to be place din a kenned with all charges to be charged to client.

2 Paws Up, Inc reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time before or during it’s term. 2 Paws Up, Inc and Pet Sitters agree to provide the services stated in this agreement in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services, the client expressly waves and relinquishes any and all claim against 2 Paws Up Pet Sitting, Inc except those arising from negligence, or willful misconduct on the part of 2 Paws Up Pet Sitters,Inc and Pet Sitters.
